Crystal Rose is a recent honours graduate of York University’s theatre program. From a young age Crystal has always been interested in film and the performing arts. Her first encounter with the stage was in 2008 at the Sears Festival where she played the role of Harriet Tubman in Harriet goes to the Therapist. This experience opened and lunched her passion for theatre, film and television arts.
Crystal has discovered that her niche and calling is actually behind the camera and is taking on more directing and editing roles. In 2010 Crystal directed her first production that had two sold out shows in Mississauga and was so successful, that it was showcased in Detroit. Currently, Crystal is in the post production phase of her short film project that she wrote, shot and co-produced by herself.
Achievements aside, Crystal continues to volunteer for Rogers TV’s daytime programs. She enjoys the experience, the networking and is expanding her production knowledge base, as her ultimate goal is to become a successful film and television producer in the city.
