Gabriela Aguilera

Gabriela Aguilera is a student at Westview Centennial Secondary School in the North York area. She is involved in many initiatives such as Sisters Unlimited girls group in her school and in the wider community, Gabriela has volunteered for Councillor Anthony Perruzza, participated with the Driftwood Youth Advisory Council, volunteered with a martial arts program, participates with Teach2Learn/Harriet Tubman Institute and is involved with a youth advisory group at Yorkwoods Public Library. She is fluent in Spanish and has received many awards and recognitions such as the 2012 Investing In Our Diversity SCCC/TCHC Scholarship award, the Volunteers are Gold certificate of appreciation, and the Dr. Ferdinand Alexander Thomas Scholarship award.
