Artform: Spoken Word Poetry

Lancelot Bucknor was born in Mandeville, Jamaica in 1991, and immigrated to Toronto with his family at age three.  He was blessed with a very spiritually rich childhood, which he stays rooted in to this day. While going to high school at Lester B. Pearson C.I., he discovered his talent and love for wordplay and spoken word poetry. After years of developing his craft he was approached to participate in a program called R.I.S.E poetry where he would be given the opportunity to further develop as an artist and contribute to something that benefits all who are involved on multiple levels. Since then he has been featured on stages through out North America and aspires to take his poetry to stages all over the planet.
