AlumNia Seed Fund

Stream 1 - Facilitating Arts-Based Workshops

Nia Centre for the Arts is proud to offer our alumni up-to $1000 in seed funding to deliver community arts workshop(s) to children and/or youth in the GTA. The AlumNia Seed Fund supports artists in the development, implementation and/or documentation of their workshop(s).

Stream 1 - Art of Facilitation: to deliver community arts workshop(s) to children and/or youth in the GTA. This stream requires artists to pay themselves for their work. Nia Centre will support artists in the development, implementation and documentation of their workshop(s).

Goals
  • To present early career artist facilitators with paid opportunities for professional development in grant writing, program design, planning, facilitation, budgeting, evaluation and reporting

  • At the end of this program, participants should feel empowered to confidently apply for a formal grant (i.e. CUE, TAC, OAC, etc.)
