Quotes From Mentees

"They taught me things school didn't teach.

The real like practical skills that I would not have picked up on."

"These skills will help me advance because it has confirmed what I need to do in my art career. Keep it up. Black artists need this! The information I learned today helped me realize that a lot of people share the same struggles and can be used as a resource.

"Fantastic session as always. I've talked to 3 mentors that have shown enthusiasm for my projects.

It will help me be more confident as well as help to make use of a new network.

"Lunch N Learns are incredibly enriching with both support for more spiritual, emotional, and ephemeral parts of being an artist as well as more concrete skills and processes involved in doing artistic work."
