Nia Centre Alumni Exclusive

Nia Centre for the Arts' Creative Connect project presents Coffee Connect for early-career artists.

Coffee Connect is a one-on-one informational-conversation between a Nia Centre alum and a industry professional (a person working in a professional capacity in either the arts, creative sector or in a role that supports creative professionals). Coffee Connect sessions are a one time meet-up between a mentor and mentee; meetings are mediated through our private online portal the cost of coffee are covered. 



Mentee Criteria:

  • Be punctual and committed

  • Be an alum of Nia Centre programming (i.e. graduated from a multi-day program or attended at least two 1-day programs such as 'Masters @ Work' or 'Lunch N Learn')

  • Be an early career artist between the age of 14-29 years old seeking to build knowledge and capacity in a creative professional

  • Pick up coffee giftcards and/or TTC tokens from Nia Centre office if necessary 

  • All participants are required to fill out a brief survey before and after the session, sharing their feedback



Registration Opens: March 1, 2016


Program Start Date: March 7, 2016







*Note: Coffee Connect is exclusively for Nia Centre alumni. Due to our limited spaces for mentees, spots are on a first come first serve basis.
